It's a great way to start the weekend. Yes, the time does seem early, but we have been meeting like this for about 8 years or so. Our day starts with study, prayer and fellowship, and since the session usually is over a little after 9, we then have the rest of the day before us. We gather starting at 7:30 for a simple breakfast. Between 8:00 and 8:15 we begin the lesson, usually using prepared materials with a topic that is important to us in our daily lives and that will strengthen our faith and knowledge of God's Word. The women all share in leading the lessons and providing the food, and we work together to select the topics. Fellowship is important, and we take time to share each other's joys and concerns both during breakfast time and after the study, for those who can stay a little later
